Yes, more packing of stuff to clear the house ready for next week’s repainting. I filled three more moving boxes with the last of the books taken off the small bookcase. I filled one box with Star Wars books and it was almost too heavy to lift. And I still had more Star Wars books! These are big heavy books about the making of the films, not novels.
After my first two critical thinking classes this morning I went for a run. I haven’t done one since Saturday because of being busy and having to look after Scully at home, but today my wife took Scully in to work. I did 7.5k, since it’s been a while since the last one. Fortunately the weather today was much cooler than yesterday’s near-record heat. Yesterday 39°C, today 22°C maximum. The run felt fairly easy today, but I did my third best time over that distance, so that was good!
Late in the afternoon I drove over to my wife’s work to pick up a trolley from there, to help move some of these moving boxes of stuff down to the garage. And hopefully back up once the painting is finished. It’ll be much easier than carrying heavy boxes. I might need to buy a few more moving boxes from the hardware store before we’re done packing things away this weekend. Fortunately we don’t need to move any of the kitchen stuff!
And tonight three more classes to finish the day off.
