Today I wrote a new class for a new week of critical and ethical thinking classes. I started that today, and will do classes up to Friday before taking a break next week for the house painting. The topic this week is a Halloween special on Costumes. We talk about costumes for holidays and special events, parties, and also for acting on stage or in movies, disguises, and traditional cultural costumes. The first three classes went pretty well.
I also planned out topics for the next three weeks ahead.
The other main thing about today was the heat. A blast of hot desert air was blown across from the west, with high winds, pushing the temperature up to around 38°C. It was supposed to threaten Sydney’s all-time hottest October day record, but didn’t quite get there. But still, it was plenty hot. Fortunately it will cool down and tomorrow is expected to be a much cooler 22°C.
