More packing Monday

Today was even more packing of things. I packed and took seven more boxes of books down to the garage, plus some other boxes of things like Magic: the Gathering cards and knick-knacks. The garage space is starting to look full.

Temporary storage

The two rows of cardboard boxes are full of books. The white plastic tubs next to them are full of Dungeons & Dragons books and other roleplaying games. The large cardboard box at back right is my drum kit. At the back, the two boxes with bright orange clips, plus all the plastic boxes above, are full of dice!

After clearing out the two largest bookcases, I pulled them away from the walls to see what was behind. There was a lot of dust and spiderwebs. I feared a lot of mould, but behind the main case there wasn’t any, and there was only a bit behind the other one. I treated the wall and the bookcases with white vinegar solution to kill any mould, and cleaned up all the webs and dust.

After spending pretty much the whole day packing, I went into the city for tonight’s university session for the image processing course. The students are working on their final project reports now. I found a new place to eat dinner before, a bar called Sneaky Possum, where I had a good chicken parmigiana. Then it was the uni session, and home for the evening.
