The cardinals are voting in the Vatican. I’ve looked up past papal elections and learnt that the election of 1268-1271 was the longest in history, lasting just a couple of months shy of three years. Now this is the sort of drama that would really make this process interesting!
Today was a lot cooler than yesterday, and there were a few showers again. I took Scully for a quick walk up to the fish & chip shop for lunch. I haven’t had fish & chips for a while, so it was nice to get that again.
Oh, and in another update on my bedroom clock… it’s back to showing the time in 12-hour mode, with a PM indicator, rater than 24-hour mode. I didn’t touch it, so I don’t know how that happened. I’m beginning to think the thing is possessed.
Oh, we just had more black smoke from the Sistine Chapel. No new Pope yet. Apparently there are two more votes scheduled today, but I’ll be asleep by the next one.
