Things just got worse on the flight from Bangkok to Sydney. My head was aching incredibly, despite being constantly tended to with an icepack and paracetamol tablets.
Luckily the flight was almost empty. We had almost the entire rear section of the plane to ourselves. I pushed up the armrests between a row of three seats and lay across them.
The flight couldn't end quickly enough. I told Michelle that as soon as we got out of the airport I had to get to a hospital.
We touched down in Sydney just after 20:00.
